Before you go
To apply for child support services, call your county DHR office and request an appointment, then bring the completed application forms to it. Depending on income, a $5 or $25 application fee is due at the appointment (cash or money order), waived for Medicaid recipients. TANF recipients are referred to the Child Support Unit by their TANF worker.
